This is officially the first blog for my trip to Jordan! I leave Aug 18th and return mid June of 2011! I am so excited to be going over to Amman to help with the United Youth Corps project. I hope that you all will enjoy reading about my trips and experiences during my adventure over in the Middle East. I appreciate any prayers for myself and fellow volunteers while in this area of the world. Where we are headed is a very safe country and they strive to keep up with the world in areas such as learning English and modernizing their country. They also widely accept Christianity and we should have no problem working and serving while being a light to their country. We hope to see some of you at the FOT in Jordan and we are going to try to travel to Egypt and other surrounding areas while we are living in Amman.
